Trevor Ettinger – Jeff Smith Memorial Tournament

March 14-19, 2026

The East Hants Minor Hockey Association is hosting the Trevor Ettinger – Jeff Smith Memorial Tournament at the East Hants Sportsplex in Lantz, Nova Scotia.  

This program is for U11C

Overview:

• Each team is guaranteed 3 games
• There will be Semi-Finals and a Championship game at each division
  • if a division only has 4 teams total, there will only be a Championship game
  • If a division has 16 teams total, Quarter finals will be added
• Championship banner per Division as well as mini banner for Gold and medals for Silver
• All games are three 10 minute periods stop time
• Tournament entry is first come, first serve and there are no cancellations.  If a team chooses not to travel due to weather, the missed game is considered a 5-0 loss
• Tournament entry fee is $1000
• Teams must have a valid Travel Permit
• Only players registered on the official team rosters with Hockey Nova Scotia (or their respective branch of HC) are permitted, no exceptions without written approval of the EHMHA Tournament Chair prior to acceptance into the tournament (exceptional circumstances notwithstanding). Teams violating this policy will be disqualified from the tournament
• Out of province teams welcome pending approval from Hockey Nova Scotia
• U11 will run Saturday March 14th, Sunday March 15th and Monday March 16th

This league will be only be accepting 16 registrations for the Trevor Ettinger Jeff Smith Memorial Tournament.

Any registrations made after the official selections have been made may be placed on a waiting list.
